George Stewart Bolton
MAYSVILLE — George Stewart Bolton. 87, Maysville,
passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020.
Bom on March 5, 1932 in
Maysville. he was the son of
the late Ellis and Annie Mae
Garrison Bolton. He was a
farmer, the widower of Ruth
Mealor Bolton, and was pre
ceded in death by a brother,
Eugene Bolton; and sisters,
Elizabeth Evans. Ethleen
Adams and Geraldine Ad
ams. He was a member of
Maysville Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons,
Ellis (Brenda) Bolton,
Royston, and Chris (Karen)
Bolton. Homer; sister, Deedie Turner. Maysville; five grand
children, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grand
child.
Funeral service: Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11 a.m. at
Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John Wood,
Charles Crabbe and Scott Smith officiating. Burial will fol
low in Grey Hill Cemetery.
Family to receive friends: Monday, January 6. 2020 from
4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Licata Lawson of Winder.
Mrs. Ciraval was a member
of the Jefferson First Unit
ed Methodist Church and
was employed in restaurant
management. In addition to
her father. Mrs. Ciraval is
preceded by her husband. Dr.
Kenneth Ciraval.
Survivors in addition to
her mother, include a daugh
ter, Jinni Gooch (Tracy), Jefferson; two sons, Chad Knight,
Douglasville, and Coda Carloss, Charleston, South Caro
lina; grandchildren, Alyssa and Parker Gooch; four sisters,
Suzanne Scogin (Allen), Statham. Jan Perry (Don). Athens,
Teresa Drake. Winder, and Kelley Lawson (Randy Fox). Pan
ama City Beach. Florida; mother-in-law, Evelyn Carloss. Jef
ferson; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

HOSCHTON — Edith Viola Gaddis Cronic. 92. Hoschton,
passed away Wednesday January 1, 2020.
A native and life-long resi
dent of Barrow County, Mrs.
Cronic was bom June 11,
1927, a daughter of the late
Marlin and Onie Turner Gad
dis. Mrs. Cronic retired from
Superior Garments of Wind
er as a seamstress with many
years of service and was of
the Baptist Faith. She will be
missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death
by her parents; her husband,
Clifford Cronic; brothers and
sisters, James Gaddis, Lola
Stinchcomb, Frances Cooper and J.C. Gaddis.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Paul
and Susan Cronic, and Larry and Mary Ann Cronic. all of
Hoschton; grandchildren, Duane Cronic, Michael Cronic,
Wesley Cronic and Ashley Hoge; great-grandchildren, Seth
Cronic, Daxton Cronic, Blaine Cronic. and one on the way;
and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

WINDER — Mary Dean, 86, passed away January 4,
2020, at her home in Winder.
Mrs. Dean was bom on
May 8, 1933 in Rutledge
to the late Emma Lee and
Grady Ivery.
Mrs. Dean enjoyed church
and attended Bush Chapel
AME Zion Church. Taber
nacle Baptist Church and
White Oak Spring Baptist
Church in Winder. In her
spare time, she loved read
ing, cooking, spending time
on her computer and watch
ing her favorite TV shows.
Preceded in death by one
daughter, Alisa, and one son, Dwight. She is survived by one
daughter, Yvette; one daughter-in-law. Kim; one son. John
and his wife, Yvonne; and five grandchildren, Broderick.
Yona, Antoine, Jacques and Brandon; three sisters-in-law;
and a host of nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews;
and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service: Wednesday. January 8, 2020 at 1 p.m. at
Eberhart Chapel, 131 MLK Jr. Dr.. Winder, with Pastor Ken
neth P. Cooper officiating.

Larry Wayne Holloway
DANIELSVILLE — Larry Wayne Holloway. 65, Dan
ielsville, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at his
home.
Mr. Holloway was bom in Green
wood, S.C. on July 27, 1954, son
of Dupree Holloway and the late
Vivian McElroy Lawson. He was a
machine operator having worked at
Eaton Corporation and was a United
States Army Veteran.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by
his grandmother, Janie Bratcher Holloway; granddaughter,
Kelsey Walton; brothers, Broden Holloway and Jim Hollo
way; and sister, Zell Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Flame Evans Holloway; daugh
ters, Maranda Sailors, Danielsville, Alisha Walton, Daniels
ville. and Jodie (Jeremy) Shepherd, Danielsville; six grand
children; father and step-mother, Dupree and Arah Holloway,
Greenwood, S.C.; step-father, Bobby Lawson, Greenwood,
S.C.; brothers, J.T. Holloway, Greenwood, S.C.. J.R. (Millie)

Kenneth Johnson
HOSCHTON — Kenneth Johnson, 72, Hoschton,
passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and
Jessie Johnson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Homer
and Mildred Wheeler; brother-in-law, Ronnie Wheeler;
sister-in-law, Shirley W. Nelson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sher
ry Jo Wheeler Johnson, Hoschton; children, Erika and
Joey Bagwell, Auburn, and April and Steve Bussoletti,
Flowery Branch; four grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Anna
Davis, Alan Bussoletti and Sarah Bussoletti; brother and
sister-in-law, Hiram and Connie Johnson, Athens; sister-
in-law, Sandra Wheeler Owens, Buford; special nieces,
Casey and Chad Roebuck and their children, Garrett and
Anniston Roebuck; other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Johnson was born December 12, 1947 in Toc-
coa. He was a 1966 graduate of Stephens County High
School and a 1968 graduate of Truett-McConnell Col
lege where he received his Associate’s Degree. He was
a member of Gravel Springs Baptist Church where he
was head deacon and taught Sunday School for over 30
years and also was choir director. Mr. Johnson attend
ed broadcasting school where he received his Certified
Broadcaster Certificate.
Funeral service: Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2 p.m.
in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Revs.
Calvin Bailey and Chad Roebuck officiating. Interment
will be in the Gravel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
