Two South Hall students
recognized at industry
signing day event
South Hall-area students Andrew Chabot
(Cherokee Bluff High School) and Victor
Polegenko (Flowery Branch High School)
were recognized as part of Hall County
Schools’ recent industry signing day at
Lanier College and Career Academy.
Both will work for BlitzerU.S. as weld
ers.
According to a press release, Hall Coun
ty Schools' work-based learning program
has worked closely with local manufactur
ers to develop technical education path
ways that provide students with hands-on
training and experience in the manufactur
ing industry.
“The Industry Signing Day is an excit
ing opportunity for our students to show
case their skills and dedication to local
business and industry,” Rhonda Samples,
the Career, Technical & Agricultural Edu
cation Executive Director of Hall County
Schools, said in the press release. “We are
proud to partner with local businesses to
provide our students with the training and
resources they need to succeed in their ca
reers.”
