' *ts -»-«> l ' submitted The Perry Junior League 8 and under All-Stars had an impressive postseason. The team brought home the third place trophy from the Telfair County Recreation. Department’s Sixth Annual Summer Classic on June 10 in Mcßae. The team won out of 10 teams that competed. On June 16 and 17, the team played in the Eastman-Dodge County Recreation. Department’s District Tournament and finished in second place to secure a spot in the state tournament. The state tournament was held in Eastman July 6, 7 and 8. The team finished undefeated and outscored their opponents 66-27 en rdut to the championship in four games. The team was coached by Phillip Moore, Art Maddox and Jarrod Sells. The team consisted of Jake Adams, Cole Brannen, Thomas G riger, Tyler Hall, Logan Hambrick, Chandler Hill, Trevor Maddox, John Walker Moore, Ben Newhouse, Leyton Pinckney, Will Reagon, Peyton Selles, Kalob Willis and Lyman Thomas Prickett. The tournament sponsors consisted of Bobby and Kathy Altman, All Secure Lock & Safe and Neal Reagan.
