John Lent as the sth Combat Communications Group commander in a change of command cere mony held Friday at 9 a.m. in the sth CCG processing Latulip graduates from basic Special to the Jorunal Air Force Airman Michael A. Latulip has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, Latulip studied the Air Force mission, organiza tion, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical "j ■■■■ - ■ ■ LATULIP training, rifle marksman ship, field training exercis es, and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associ ate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of Dennis Latulip of Sidewinder Loop, Clancy, Mont., and Valerie Ledford of Shannon Ridge, Bonaire. Latulip is a 2005 gradu ate of Helena High School, Mont. yards. Block was the Chief of the Knowledge, Operations and Initiatives Division, Assistant Chief of Staff, Combined Forces Command/ U.S. Forces Korea at Yongsan AG in Seoul, Korea before coming to Robins. Local Airman currently deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom Special to the HHJ Air Force Staff Sgt. Celena I. Wilson is current ly deployed overseas at a forward-operating location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the official name given to military operations involv ing members of the U.S. armed forces and coali tion forces participating in efforts to free and secure Iraq. Mission objectives focus on force protection, peacekeeping, stabilization, security and counter-insur gency operations as the Iraqi transitional govern ing bodies assume full sov ereign powers to govern the peoples of Iraq.
