Friday, July 28, 2006
March begins at the steps of Macon City Hall
at 6:30 p.m.
Prayer service, music, and an informational session
by Messianic Rabbi Greg Hershberg
begins at the Centreplex Monument Room
at 7:30 p.m.
Sponsored by Congregation Beth Yeshua, a congregation of Christians and Jews
worshipping together the promised Messiah of Israel, Jesus Christ
(Yeshua HaMashiach)
We are steadfast in our support of Israel and her obligation to protect her citizens
in the fight against terrorism and unprovoked attacks on her people.

said Hattaway. “They were
well coached. He just made
an error. He does his subs
differently than most others.
I don’t understand it.”
Hattaway added that
Buckhead just barely missed
not getting two reserves into
the game, but Warner Robins
American got the last out on
Buckhead against the next
to-last player on the bench.
Warner Robins American’s
scheduled game Tuesday with
Oconee American wasn’t
rained out. The weather
problems actually occurred
Monday, and Hattaway said
the games slated for Monday
were pushed to Tuesday.
That, in turned, moved
the whole remainder of the
schedule up one day.
The semifinals were moved
from Thursday to Friday, and
the championship game from
Friday to Saturday.
As for Warner Robins
American’s potential opposi
tion in the semis, Hattaway
said Northern Columbus is
likely to be the top seed from
the other pool. The other
representative from that pool
could be Master’s City, an
Augusta team. Hattaway also
expects Buckhead to round
out the four-team champion
ship bracket.
“There’s still a lot of base
ball to be played,” he said.
“The boys have worked hard
THE HOUSTON HOME JOURNAL
and done a good job. We just
couldn’t get a break (against
Buckhead). Hopefully if we
play them again the bats will
be hotter.”
This Warner Robins
American 11-12 team is look
ing to win the program’s first
state championship in this
division since 1992.
One other WRALL base
ball bunch, the 9-10 All-
Stars, already captured a
state crown this summer.
That team is on its way today
to Mitch Stadium in Ceredo-
Kenova, WVa., for the sec
ond annual Tournament of
Champions.
Warner Robins American’s
first game is at 3 p.m. Saturday
against South Forsyth Little
League of Clemmons, N.C.
Then on Sunday it’s another
3 p.m. start against Citrus
Park Little League of Tampa.
Greenwood Little League of
Indiana is the third and final
pool game for Warner Robins
at 11 a.m. Monday.
Warner Robins American
is in pool C with Indiana and
North Carolina. The game
against Florida, in pool B, is
a wild-card game. If Warner
Robins does not sweep its
two pool opponents, it can ,
still reach the championship
bracket as the wild card with
a win against Florida.
