Perry High does have an

hold all the players, coaches
and spectators.
“The biggest part is the
opportunity for them to
showcase all of their hard
work,” said Scott. “They put

As far as Mighty Casie, she not

On the bench press,
senior Robby Taylor had

Kanorris Davis, a rising

He tried a lift heavier than

Billie Gibson putts on the first hole.
“She played an awesome game
behind the plate,” Goodman said,
“blocking balls and calling the
right pitch at the right time.”
Unfortunately for WRNL faith
ful, the team wasn’t able to carry
that momentum into its Sunday
afternoon game against Tennessee,
TUESDAY, AUGUST 1 ♦
a team that had nine that played in
the World Series last year return.
The WRNL lost 15-0.
They were to play again at 8
p.m. against host Alexandria, La.
Results were pending, but a loss
would mean the end of WRNL’s
World Series run.
