Mize was picked up at his home located at 436 Woodland Drive about an hour and a half after the assault, Rooks said. The sexual assault occurred in a residential neighborhood in the area of Corder Road in the home of a 27-year-old victim. Rooks said there was no weapon used. There may be additional charges once the case gets to the Grand Jury, Rooks said, but for now Mize remains in the Houston County Detention Center on charges of rape and murder.
