The following is a simple reminder of four steps you can take to prevent those pesky bites. 1. Dawn and dusk are the times of day that mosquitoes are most active. Areas with standing water are locations where most mos quitoes will lay eggs and breed. Dump out containers such as recycling bins, empty flowerpots, and other contain ers that may collect water. Change water in birdbaths or small wading pools at least once a week.
