♦ SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, 2006 6A Pouce Beat Naked, bloody and running around in a vacant trailer By RAY LIGHTNER Journal Staff Writer Deputies responding to a reported fight Sunday found two men, naked and bloody in a vacant trailer. In way of explanation, deputies were sent to a Deborah Drive trailer park in reference to a fight inside a vacant trailer about 1 a.m. The two deputies heard the altercation- inside and approached the front and rear doors in an attempt to make contact. One deputy reportedly saw a naked male subject run ning around inside who then went to the front door to meet with the other deputy. The naked man reportedly had blood on his face that was not his own. The deputy went to the back rooms to find another subject and found another naked man, with a small lac eration to his cheek covered in blood. In the bath the deputy found a large amount of blood on the floor, tub cabi net and shower. The resi dence had a strong smell of bleach and sheet rock dust. The walls had several holes and windows were broken out, A hammer was found in the living room that was reportedly used to break the windows and put holes in the walls and a gallon of bleach was located on the living room floor as well. ; When asked what was going on the first man, 44, reportedly said he was attempting to get his friend but of the residence because he was not allowed there. ■He lives at another trailer in the mobile home park with his friend. He said he was going to clean up this trailer and added that his brother was a onetime owner of the trail er. When asked why he was naked in someone else’s home, he reportedly said he did not want to talk about it. When the second naked man, age 31, was asked what was going on, he reportedly said he lived with the other man and they were having sex. When asked about the blood in the bathroom, he reportedly said he did not know and then reportedly became angry with the dep uty for asking questions. Both men, reportedly high ly intoxicated at the time of the report, were charged with battery under family violence and taken to jail. More charges, such as damage to private property and criminal trespass, may be filed, deputies stated, if the owner of the trailer could be located and wants to press charges for damage to the trailer. fighting, drinking - going to jail On Friday night, deputies responded to “JBs,” a Holt Avenue trailer park, regard ing a fight. A deputy found a group of people, about 20, standing in the roadway with a turbu lent demeanor. He heard voices exchange heated words and observed a lone white male speak angri ly to someone in the group. As he turned toward them someone announced the deputy’s arrival and they immediately turned their back and starting walking to the porch, quickly entering the residence. The deputy made contact with the lone male as he reportedly staggered toward Nelson Drive. The deputy began to inquire about the fight and immediately noticed “the nauseating smell of an alco holic beverage coming from” the male’s breath and per son. I live right up there and I’m trying to get home.” The deputy continued to talk with the male, who was engaged in a one-sided con versation. After obtaining his full attention, the male still denied knowing anything about the fight. A puffy area was observed on the male’s forehead and red raised crescent shaped welt was reportedly observed near his right temple and on his right cheek. The male denied any knowledge of them. • Once backup arrived, offi cers went to the trailer and it appeared that a party had been in progress. A resident then reportedly gave permis sion for the officers to enter. While conducting interviews it became known some minors were reportedly in possession of alcohol. A 15-year-old girl was found hiding behind a chair in which another male, who claimed to be 22, was seated. Both consented to Alco-sen sor tests. She tested positive at .100 grams and he at .057 grams. When asked about the alcohol, he reportedly said, “all I know is that I was at the mall and someone said I could come here and drink, and that’s what I did.” • According to the girl’s mother, the two have a his tory and he was arrested recently for unwanted con tact with her. An 18-year-old male also reportedly consented to the Alco-sensor test, testing pos itive at .057 grams. After discovering the one found outside was actually 20, he and the two teens in the trailer were charged with drinking underage.
