PAGE 6 Will changes be the key for Panthers? By JAMES TIDWELL Journal Staff Writer After spending four years as defensive coordina tor at Perry, Andy Scott took over, the head reigns for the Panthers last season and guided the squad to the second round of the GHSA Class AAA state play offs, a 34-14 loss to Shaw. "The kids already knew me, so that made the transition really smooth," Scott said. The second year coach is now looking to build on his inaugural season and get the Panthers back into the postseason. To help make that happen, Scott has brought in new blood to the coaching staff with Chad Al ligood taking over as offensive coordinator and Randy Rowland assuming the defensive coordina tor position. "I feel they bring a lot to our team," Scott said. The head Panther is also hoping the added coaching experience will help offset the youth of his club.
