A table for eight costs $160; and the cost for single seat at a table is S2O. There are special discounts for military personnel (active duty). The new system will be implemented beginning at the central office as of WWW.HHJNEWS.COM Upon arrival, the victim, Augustin Lopez reportedly told police he was standing alongside Porkie Drive when four black males approached him and one of the men grabbed him by the neck, threw him to the ground, and began to strike him about his head. Officials encourage resi dents and business repre-' sentatives from Houston County, Centerville, Perry and Warner Robins to attend. At each open house, there will be maps and displays depicting the proposed future land use development and poli cies for these communi ties. Representatives from Houston County, Centerville, Perry and Warner Robins will be situated at their commu nity’s display to answer questions. There will also be an opportunity to pick up and/or drop off com ment cards. The open houses will be held on Sept. 21 in the Jury Assembly Room See LAND, page 6A Police, Wal-mart team up to hold community event Special to the Journal The Warner Robins Police Department, in conjunction with the Wal mart on Booth Rd. in Warner Robins will host a community event for the citizens of Warner Robins and Houston County Sept. 16. The police depart ment will have several venues set up from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The first will be VIN etching and will be manned by members of the Criminal Investigation Division. VIN etching is a chemi cal process in which the Vehicle Identification Number is etched into the car’s windows mak ing it a less likely target for theft. The Traffic Division will be conducting child safety seat checks. According to a release from the WRPD, almost 80 percent of child car seats are installed incorrectly.
