PHS FCCLA
trains new
officers
Special to the Journal
The Perry High School
Chapter of Family, Career
and Community Leaders of
America, in a release, said it
is “excited” about the new
group of officers leading the
members this year.
Reneasha Deloach, Amber
Drew, Marie Gidney, Beth
Hickman, Shauna Johnson,
Cassondra Spires, Jessica
Darsey and Haley Johnson
began the year with “Officer
Leadership Training” Aug.
26.
At this training the offi
cers were officially installed,
played team building games,
worked on leadership skills
and ideas and created the
“Program of Work.”
This, also according to
the release, “provided an
opportunity for the offi
cers to not only bond and
work with each other, but
it also allowed the officers
to bond with the advisors,
Kama Beaumarchais and
Kre Finley.”
“This event will not only
benefit the chapter but also
the members in a great way,”
the release read.

required.
A receptionist will then
transfer callers to their
intended party. When dialing
departments directly, most
calls will be answered by an
auto attendant.
Callers will then be
prompted to enter the
five-digit extension of the
employee they are trying to
reach or dial a specific exten
sion for assistance. Facsimile
numbers remain the same.
The VoIP system is projected
to be in place systemwide by
the end of May 2007.
