King spent Monday’s prac tice time in therapy, and the coach said he doesn’t expect him to miss more than one game if any. Cuppett, though, is defi nitely out for the Berkmar game with a slight concus sion, Johnson said. “It hurts us a little bit,” said Johnson. “Berkmar is an extremely quick team. Martez does a lot for us, and if he can’t play it will defi nitely change our plans.” For one thing, it would make sophomore Jeff Thompson the starter for the first time on varsity. Johnson said Thompson does have a grasp of the Houston County offense, but natural ly lacks the experience. The game plan, he said, would then center on the plays Thompson can make. “The matchup is not See HOCO, page 6B Warner Robins quarter back Mark Wright Jr. not once but twice needing help to get from the playing Warner Robins at Central Gwinnett, Friday, 7:30 p.m. field to the visiting side line.
