Find the
middle in
a jiffy
Find the center of a
board the easy way:
Place a ruler or mea
suring tape diagonally
across the board so
the boards edges are
on even numbers.
Divide the distance
by two and mark
the board. You’ll have
the exact center. This
trick works for find
ing thirds, fourths or
any equal division of
a board.
Every time you add oil,
coolant or windshield
washer fluid to your vehi
cle, do you slop a little
on the engine and floor?
Keep a supply of unwaxed
paper cups in the garage
to act as funnels. Just
punch a pencil hole in the
bottom of the cup, pour,
then throw it away when
you’re done. No mess.
They're also great for fill
ing the mower, or for
pouring into any small
neck opening.
