The wedding will take place at 5 p.m., Dec. 16, at the Perimeter Road Baptist Church in Valdosta. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edward E. Sanders Sr., CMSgt. (Ret.) and Mrs. William G. Wright, and the late CMSgt. (Ret.) Edward E. Sanders Sr. She gradu ated from Niceville Senior High School in Niceville, Fla. and from Mitchell’s Hair Academy in Raleigh, N.C. She is a private cosmetologist as well as a supervisor at AAFES. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Hartwell, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis West, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Simmons and the late Katheran Ann Hartwell. He is a graduate of Houston County High School and the Louis F. Garland Fire Academy. He is a DOT National EMT and DOT National EMT instructor, and is attending the University of Maryland. He is presently a US Air Force firefighter in Ramstein, Germany.
