During that time, kindergarten students invited their grandparents for refresh ments and sang songs to show how much they mean to them. They also recited a poem entitled “Here Are Grandma’s Glasses.” Some grandparents even traveled from as far as California to be a part of this special celebration. The 28-day course is a leadership internship for cadets who are normally between their sophomore and junior college years.
