Warner Robins Police Maj. John Wagner, holding his son John 111, accepts his 15-year
certificate and pin from Walker as Wagner’s wife Karen looks on. Walker noted both
were 4.0 graduates from Georgia College and the major is one of two FBI academy
graduates with the Police Department, the other being Wagner’s best friend Chief Brett
Evans. Wagner thanked the council for giving the department the resources “to allow
us to do our job” and thanked his wife for her sacrifices. The former Marine and Desert
Storm veteran said “it’s been quite a privilege to serve. It’s nice to come to work and
laugh every day with the people I work with.”
