by the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 24, at The Swanson. Spivey was home from Iraq
for a visit with her family, including her three children. Also in the photo are Joy Albright
and Penny Ingram. The Auxiliary has made a special project of expressing appreciation
to Spivey and providing moral support for her and her family.

Optimists elect new leaden

The Warner Robins
Noon Optimist Club has
elected Toni Ballinger as
the new club President for
2006/2007.
Ballinger, who has been a
club member for five years,
will begin her term on Oct.
1.
“I am looking forward
to serving as the leader of
such a dedicated group of
individuals in the coming
year,” Ballinger said. “I am
proud of the work we do for
children locally, and I hope
to see our club strive in the
year ahead.”
The Noon Optimist Club
of Warner Robins has
been supporting the youth
of Warner Robins for 55
years. It is the oldest civic
club in the city, having been
chartered on Oct. 1, 1951.
Optimist Clubs are known
for “ Bringing Out The Best
In Kids”. Since each club is
autonomous, Optimist vol
