Ella and Ed Beckham were recently welcomed backed from a trip by this flock of
pink flamingos on the front yard of their Perry home. Nobody knows how the birds
wound up there.

Lynne and Janet miss the
fellowship of the stamp
ing community they found
at the now closed Happy
Scrapper in Warner Robins.
Lynne used to teach fre
quent classes there on vari
ous stamping techniques,
and Janet has become a
“Stampin’ Up!” distributor.
They love the synergy of
shared ideas and projects,
and are hoping to find a new
group of “stamping bud
dies” in Perry to possibly
hold monthly get-togethers
or form some sort of club!
If anyone is interested, they
can contact Lynne at 396-
7426 or Janet at 988-1065.

We received a number of
suggestions for the theme
for this year’s Christmas
at the Crossroads parade,
and have decided on “Old
Fashioned Christmas”.
Although it is not a require
ment, we do encourage
everyone who participates
in the parade to use the
theme as a guide when dec
orating their float.
The route for this year ’s

area.
We will lineup on
Washington Street; from
there turn right onto
Carroll Street, bringing you
through downtown Perry;
cross over Ball Street and
proceed in front of the old
courthouse; turn left onto
Jaycee Road, which runs
beside the Jaycee building
and then left onto M&in
Street bringing you in front
of the New Perry Hotel,
CB&T Bank, The Bank of
Perry, etc. and ending at des
ignated parking lots, which
will be clearly marked.
With the route being con
centrated on the downtown,
there will be more park
ing spaces for vehicles and
viewing space for people to
bring their chairs and sit.
Everyone will feel like
they are on the front
row! If you are interest
