Come rain or come shine, Parkwood Elementary School’s fourth-grade students were
given an introduction to meteorology by Middle Georgia’s own Jeff Cox, WGXA-FOX
24. On a recent visit to the school, Cox explained the various meteorological tools used
to analyze current and future weather we will be experiencing. In addition to the many
charts, graphs and information presented to the students, Cox, according to a release
from Parkwood, did admit that “sometimes, just sometimes, Mother Nature fools us
all.” Students particularly enjoyed the question and answer session that followed the
presentation, the release read.
