Robins Middle School is
the first and only Certified
Master Teacher in Houston
County
In applying for the Master
Teacher Certification,
Lucas provided documenta
tion of her years of teach
ing and student data from
her 2004/2005 seventh
grade students compared to
their sixth grade data from
2003/2004. There was a sig
nificant gain in the ‘O4/’OS
scores compared with the
‘O3/’O4 scores.
Perdue’s Master Teacher
and Academic Coach pro
gram was created during the
2005 legislative session to
recognize teachers who are
impacting student achieve
ment and to keep Georgia’s
best teachers in the class
rooms, rather than moving
to administrative positions.
“A great teacher has an
impact that lasts a lifetime
and these master teachers
are sterling examples of
teachers who inspire their
students inside and outside
of the classroom,” said Cox
in a release.
“I urge each of these
Master Teachers to share
what they know with others.

ily” members, common
ly referred to as “incest”
among humans.
In addition, there have
been reports that we humans
can go beyond the genetic
drive of other mammals by
having sex with other spe
cies such as cows, sheep,
dogs, etc and we humans
have been known to per
form sexual acts with our
dead. We humans do indeed
have sexual “genetic” drives
and ... choices! There are no
“unique” homosexual genet
ic drives,” or special genetic
drives to “act naturally,” or
a compelling genetic need to
“simply be.who we are,” or
a no choice “homosexuals,
like heterosexuals”, genetic
drive” or a special genet
ic “homosexual brain”; all
touted by homosexuals and
their behavioral advocates.
Bottom line, there are no
reasons to grant homosex
uals the right to redefine
marriage, to have formal
“unions”, to have special
“civil rights” for housing and
jobs, or to grant homosexu
als “political correct rights 1 ’
to have recruiting clubs or
“homosexual life style class
es” in our grammar, mid
level and high schools, or in
our colleges.
Meanwhile, anyone can

Teachers in the pool of
199 Master Teachers are eli
gible to become Academic
Coaches. According to a
release, the duties of the
Academic Coaches may
include inducting new
teachers, analyzing student
achievement data, making
recommendations for school
improvement and imple
menting the new Georgia
Performance Standards
Curriculum. Academic
Coaches may be eligible for
salary increases.
As Middle School Science
Coach, Lucas said she
works with science teachers
on implementing the best
practices into the science
classroom. She spends her
days planning with teach
ers from the seven county
middle schools and “juggles”
elementary school needs as
well.
The FYO6 budget passed
by the General Assembly
included $500,000 to imple
ment the Master Teacher
program and $2 million
for the Academic Coach
Program.
No other state in the
nation has developed a cer
tification program to recog
nize Master Teachers.
Lucas has been an edu
cator for eight years. She
spent four years in Jackson
teaching fifth and seventh
grade science and one year
business, or grant power of
attorney to each other for
financial, health, and family
decisions when one is inca
pacitated.
Concerning the Mark Foley
affair, I do not understand
the Democrat’s outrage.
After all, the Democrats
endorse homosexual activity,
condone their lifestyle, and
seek their membership in
the Party because homosex
uals are simply being who
they are. According to the
sex-edlol.org WEB site, the
liberal courts have invali
dated homosexual “age of
consent” laws in 22 states

Lucas graduated from
Dooly County High School
in 1993 and obtained her
Bachelor of Science and
Masters degrees from Fort
Valley State University and
her Education Specialist
degree from Georgia College
and State University.
This is also Lucas’s sec

Specialist, a mentor position
recommended by the prin
cipal.
Last year she mentored a
sixth grade teacher and this
year she is mentoring one
sixth and one eighth grade
teacher.
“She is extremely knowl

said Rebecca Oakley of her
mentor, Lucas.
Applications for the second

any adult homosexual can
