Coach Vince Dooley held Talmadge in the high est esteem. Every time Dooley passed through the gate, he never failed to speak to Talmadge and to shake his hand. Until Talmadge retired, the first thing I did upon entering Sanford Stadium was to drop by to see Talmadge. We usually dis cussed the past ganrle and the upcoming contest.
