With an infield hit,
Woodstock plated its fifth
run. Graham finally got her
12th whiff to end it.
The bottom part of the
Demonette order was due in
the home half. Cherie White
walked and Amy Hutcheson,
brought in as a pinch-hitter,
delivered a single. From the
No. 9 spot, Kittery Maine
drove a double to break
Woodstock’s shutout at 5-1.
Katie Farinelli, with two
hits already as the leadoff
batter, singled off the pitch
er’s glove to make it 5-2.
Lauren Graham followed
with another RBI single for
5-3.
Kristen Graham, also
owner of two previous hits,
was next up with first base
open. Woodstock opted for
the intentional walk, and
the move paid off with a
game-ending groundout to
first.
The Wolverines scored
single runs in the first and
third innings, both on two
out hits.

Even better, Westfield’s

the punt. Unfortunately,
they fumbled the attempt.

on a clean hit.
The lead doubled to 4-0 on
two wild pitches.
With two outs in the top of

Gourdeau’s two-run double
and a single by Kayla Miller
staked Peachtree Ridge to
the 9-0 advantage.
The Bears offense didn’t

With a Bethany Crenshaw

Ashlee Burkett, by far the

a fourth-down pass. That
made it, following the extra

inside the fourth quarter.
Pinewood forced the
Hornets into a three-and

Hornets’ bid to do the same
with another long run for
a touchdown. That made it
28-7.
Westfield, this time with

Burkett drove in her third
run of the day on a fifth

As a pitcher, Hancock gave

Burkett, the catcher, threw
