A used book sale will be spon
sored by the Houston County Friends
of the Library Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to
1 p.m.
Books will be sold by the box for
$1.50 to $6.00 per box at Friends

Theater to present
Romantic Comedy
The Warner Robins Little Theater,
which is located at 502 South
Pleasant Hill Drive, will present
Romantic Comedy beginning today.
The setting for this comedy is New
York City where Jason Carmichael
(Fred Monahan) lives, writes plays
and is on the threshold of marrying
Allison St. James (Dot Carr). Phoebe
Craddock (Tanya Pox), an aspir
ing writer with great admiration for
Jason, shows up at the door and the
comedic situations begin.
Romantic Comedy was made into
a movie in 1983 with Dudley Moore
as Jason and Mary Steenburgen
as Phoebe. Make your reservation
for one of the eight performances

Museum department
to hold fund-raiser
The Museum of Aviation Education
Department is having a fund-raiser.
Proceeds will be used to support
student educational field trips at the
Museum.
For sale will be barbecued Boston
butts for S2O, and tubs of chocolate
chip cookie dough for sl2. All orders
must be prepaid, and are due by
Nov. 10. Buyers will pick up their
purchases in the Museum of Aviation
Freedom Park on Dec. 2.

Babysitter gets 10 years for molestation

deliberated for more than
three hours before convict
ing a Bonaire woman of
molesting an 8-year-old boy
while she served as the fam
ily babysitter.
Ashley Lynn Rouse, 19, of
105 Alden Court was found
guilty of two counts of child
molestation for two incidents
that occurred in the victim’s
home in early 2005.

its annual Homecoming festivities
today and Saturday when the Demons
play Colquitt County.
The 2006 Homecoming king and
queen will be announced at that time,

dies in
accident

The Traffic Division
of the Houston County
Sheriffs Office is cur
rently investigating a
fatal vehicle collision
which occurred at the
intersection of Georgia
247 and Russell Parkway
Wednesday at 2:09 p.m.
The collision involved a
white 2006 Toyota 4 run
ner, being driven by Sok
Tae Yoon, 35, of Kathleen
and a 1982 Yamaha 650
motorcycle, driven by
Ryan Stich, 32, of Warner
Robins.
According to the traf
fic division’s report, both
vehicles were northbound
on 247 and approaching
the intersection of Russell
Parkway.
The traffic signal had
begun to cycle from green
to red. The motorcycle
was slowing for the red
light when the Toyota
changed lanes - from the
inside lane to the out
side lane - and struck the
motorcycle from the rear.
At impact, Stich’s hel
met came off. He was also
thrown into the wind
shield support post and
then rolled off the Toyota
and into the highway.
