Sonny Perdue in the last full month of the campaign for gover nor. But Perdue continues to hold a significant lead in available money heading into the final days of the election, according to new campaign disclosure reports. Perdue spent a whopping $5.4 million in October, the bulk of it to blanket the state’s airwaves with televi sion ads. Taylor spent just $1.7 million for the month long reporting period which ended Oct. 25. The reports show that lackluster poll numbers didn’t prevent Taylor from hustling to fill his campaign coffers in October, pulling in $723,546. Perdue raised $628,343 for the same peri od. But Perdue has $1.77 million cash on hand while Taylor has just $214,774.
