the 19K0s series, Bach, 52, has
remained out of the spotlight. She spent most of die '9os raising
her two young daughters, and in 1998, slie and her luisband, Peter
Lo[xrz, became founding members of C.O.A.C.H. For Kids, which
provides free medical services via mobile clinics for children and rheir
families in low-income areas of Los Angeles Qxinty. Bath mack*
many of the outfits she wore on The Dukes J Hazzanl. including the
cut-off slxrt-shorts that tame to be referred to as “Daisy Dukes" in
reference to her character’s signature Icxik.

Reba is a “Giant” on CMT
The spotlight shines on Reba McEntire when CMT honors
this star of movies, Broadway, television and country music in
the two-hour special CMT Giants — Reha. Dolly Parton, Faith
Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson, Martina Mcßride,
Jennifer Nettles, LeAnn Rimes and Wynonna perform some
of Reba's biggest hit srxigs, and there'll be a special perfor
mance by the beloved redhead herself. CMT Giants—Reba

actor Rob Lowe, played the folk/pop
singer in Take Ale Home: The John
Denier Story , which aired in 20(X).
Denver, whose hit songs included
"Take Me Home, Country Roads,' "Rocky Mountain High”
and “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” died in 1997 when the
airplane he was piloting crashed off the coast of California.

Brandon De Wilde, the actor who
memorably portrayed young Joey in
the 1953 movie Shane , received an
Oscar nomination tor that role and
went on to star in his own short
lived TV series, Jamie, later that
year. De Wilde, who also appeared
Brandon De Wilde
in the films All Fall Down and Hud, was in Denver on the
way to perform in the play Butterflies an Free when he was
killed in a tar accident in 1972 at the age of 30.
