of Crack Cocaine with the intent to

Conduct giving rise to forfeiture:
Sgt. Ron Brainard was dis
patched to 108 Newman P 1 in refer
ence to methamphetamines at that
location. Sgt. Brainard arrived and
noticed a Green 1996 Chevrolet
Pickup sitting in the driveway. The
pickup was occupied by three white
males. Sgt. Brainard made contact
with the white male that was occu
pying the driver's seat, who was
identified as Keith Smith,
04/02/1962. Sgt. Brainard explained
to Smith why he had come to the
residence'and asked him if he had
any drugs on his person. Smith told
Sgt. Brainard that he did not. Sgt.
Brainard asked Smith if he may
have consent to search his truck
and Smith granted consent. During
this search, Sgt. Sgt. Brainard found
a plastic baggie on the passenger
side of the truck and it contained
methamphetamines. Sgt. Brainard
also found another plastic baggie
containing mefhamphetamine on the
passenger floorboard of Smith's
truck. Smith was later charged with
the possession of the methampheta
mine.
The item(s) seized are re
quested to be forfeited in that they
were used or intended for use to fa
cilitate a violation of the Georgia
Controlled Substance Act and/or
were found in close proximity to con
trolled substances or were the result
of drug proceeds or were main
tained by drug proceeds. QCGA
