E-mail warns students of meth ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia college students will soon be getting an e-mail warning them of the dangers of meth amphetamine. The e-mail - which fea tures graphic photos of meth users with oozing sores and rotting teeth - will be sent to the 260,000 Georgia college students at the state’s 35 schools in the coming days. The initiative was announced at a state Capitol news con ference on Thursday by U.S. Attorney David Nahmias and other state and federal law enforcement and educa tion officials. “It’s an ugly, painful way to go,” the e-mail says. Law enforcement offi cials stressed that meth is a highly addictive drug and students who might use it to stay awake to study for exams or heighten sexual performance are in for a long recovery program down the road. 3A 00041344
