The property to be annexed into the city is zoned R-AG (resi dential agricultural) in the county. The formal annexation and rezoning have to be approved by the Warner Robins City Council. The request was tabled last month by the plan ning board to address the concerns by the board and neighbors about the devel opment. According to the board, the goals of the zoning adjust ments are to: 1. determine which areas will attend the new schools; 2. establish zones that are equitable for all schools; 3. establish zones along natural boundaries (such as roads, creeks, etc.); and 4. consider population growth projections. In the “Penny War,” pennies were positive, while all silver coins and greenbacks were negative.
