Walker and Larry Snellgrove made last-minute ticket purchases of 100 and 101 tick ets respectively, in the drawing for a print surrounded by the Vietnam service pin for each of the 50 states. Walker drew the winning single ticket for a Mexican restaurant. HOBOE holds legislative dinner By NANCY HAWK Journal Staff Writer The Houston County Board of Education held a legislative dinner at Perdue Elementary School Tuesday in the school cafeteria. The gathering was treated to a special singing guest, Alana Horne, a third grad er from Perdue Primary. Her special rendition of Zipity do-Da and several Christmas songs seemed to set the pace for a conge nial meeting and fellowship. Attending were, among oth ers: Sen. Ross Tolleson, R- Perry, Representative Larry O’Neal, R, Perry and Willie Talton, D; Representative elect Tony Sellier.
