“We really didn’t shoot the

We had some good looks, but

The win came one night
after a tough road loss at John
Milledge in Milledgeville, 43-

The home John Milledge
team led 10-8 after the first
quarter, but Westfield won the
next two quarters - each by a
score of 11-10 - to make it a
tied game going into the final
quarter, 30-30.
“We missed a lot of easy
shots,” said head coach Jeff
Eubanks, adding that there
was a discrepancy in the num

Westfield boys basketball

what he called

back to Perry
on Saturday to beat Crisp

“We had a high free-throw
percentage, made a lot of easy
shots against the zone and we
defended pretty well,” said
Walls about the win against
John Milledge. “Offense was
our biggest struggle all year. It
was a big win.”
Nash Murph had 23 points
on Friday. Walls said his
senior center has had to carry
the scoring load in previous
Hornet games, but he added
that two sophomores came
through and helped not only
compliment Murph’s game on
Friday, but picked up the slack
