Houston Orthopaedic unveils new website

Houston Orthopaedic
Surgery and Sports Medicine
unveiled Monday a new
name and new interactive
website at www.mgo.md.
According to a release, the
new name is intended to bet
ter represent the growing
presence of the 25-year-old
orthopaedic group in the
middle Georgia area.
Designed and built by
the ClCreative division of
Computer One in Augusta,
the Middle Georgia
Orthopaedic Surgery and
Sports Medicine website fea
tures new interactive fea
tures including online pay
ments, online animations, of
orthopaedic procedures, a
detailed library of informa
tion about common ortho
paedic problems and treat
ments and regular news

for the practice.
The new website includes
a detailed patient informa
tion section in addition to
the interactive library.
Patients are given access to
a complete medical diction
ary, -to information regard
ing office visits and surgical
procedures and list of useful
links to other related web
sites.

with the end result,”
Pritchett said. “We intended
to create an attractive web
site with valuable services
and information for our

Authority.

time is research in a parasite
called Trypanosoma cruzi.
This parasite is linked
to a disease called Chagas.
Linked especially to areas of
Central and South America.
