Sometimes it’s hard to
discern which is your child's
primary love language. You
may be able to tell just by
watching.
You’ll see that when they
feel like expressing love
they default to what is most
meaningful to them, wheth

or expressing their love ver

simple as asking.
I have tried this with my

him on several occasions,
“How do you know your

He has given different
answers a few times, but
the most common one is:
“Because you play with
me.”
Just by me pretending to

The commissioners also
gave their approval to
two suggestions for
future road develop
ment. They agreed that
a future extension of
Gurr Road across the
county would be a good
idea, and that the city
should ask for a change
in the Warner Robins
Area Transportation
Study plan to make a
four-lane highway of
Lake Joy Road south of
Ga. 96.
City Mananger Lee
Gilmour had suggested
dropping this road-wid
ening from the WRATS
long-term plan, because
both Llouston Lake
Road and U.S. 41 serve
as north-south corridors
and are being widened.
It was generally agreed
that widening the south
ern portion of Lake Joy
Road is not a good idea
because many homes are
close to the road, and also
because of the expense
that would be entailed in
widening the bridge and
dam at Lake Joy.
might be: “Will you play
with me?” or “Can I sit on
your lap?” When he was
younger, my older son went
through a phase for a few
months when he asked, “Do
you love me?” several times
a day. To him, at that time,
a verbal expression of love
and affirmation is what he
needed to fill up his love
tank.
It will take some work,
but learning to speak the
love language of the people
you care about will reap
lasting rewards, for you and
your loved ones.
