Abigail Cunningham and
Anne Culpepper continue

Overall, Cunningham

“Abigail had an excel

Hawkins said. “She execut

finish to edge out Ware
County’s swimmer. 1 *
Culpepper also earned 18
points with her swims in
the 200 IM and 100 Fly.
“Anne dominated the

WRALL holds
registration;
adds extension
By DON MONCRIEF
Journal Sports Editor
The Warner Robins
American Little League
began signups for the new
year Saturday.
The good news if you
missed it, is there will be
an additional signup day
- an extension opportunity
- this coming Saturday from
10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Flint
Energies Sports Complex
(just behind Houston County
High School and the Central
Georgia Soccer Association’s
fields).
The bad news is because
that is a week later than
intended there will be a $25
late fee, said new league
president Roman Jones.
Those interested can still
visit their website at wrall.
org and fill out all the neces
sary paperwork, he added.
As far as overall numbers
following signup day, Jones
said they were at approxi
mately 60 percent capacity.
He said there were “plenty
of openings” - especially C
and T-ball. “But those could
fill up fast,” he said.
There are also a number
of slots, he added, open in A
and B leagues.
Best advice, he said, “If
they’re not signed up, they
should get an application
and do so. Space is limited,
so once it’s filled, they’ll be
put on a waiting list.”
And one more note, some
thing new has been added to
the WRALL this year: T-ball
for girls ages 5-6.
