According to Warner
Robins Police, surveillance
footage shows Jones stealing
the purse from the victim’s
shopping cart and Ard can be
later seen walking through
the parking lot pressing the
locking mechanism on the
victim's key ring to locate
the victim’s vehicle.

The Warner Robins Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for

Houston County 4-H shotgun team begins another season

youth grades 6-12 who are

2003, incident.

suspect from a Kenneth Drive
residential burglary, worked
by fellow county investigator
Sgt. Dave Carrick. Carrick
had also worked the ear
liest incident, the burglary
at Carpeter Construstuction
on Bargain Road. The other
commercial Burglary was at
Marble Masters on North
Davis Drive.
While the VW and the city
truck have been recovered,
Williams said, the three
other stolen vehicles - a four
wheeler taken from Glory
Road and a four-wheeler
and a dirt bike taken from
Baker Road, have not been
recovered.

a sex offender which he

release from jail. His
address was last verified
a few days later on Dec.

card theft and theft by tak

Warner Robins Police. Ard is
currently being held at the
Houston County Detention
Center without bond.
Jones is currently being
held in the Bibb County Law
Enforcement Center where
he has been charged with
robbery by sudden snatch
ing that involved a theft of
a purse on Jan. 14 which
occurred at the Wal-Mart
at 6020 Harrison Road in
Macon just two days after
the incident in Warner
Robins.
