Notice is hereby given
that the Perry City Council intends to
vote at its regularly scheduled meet
ing on February 20,2007 as to
whether or not to implement an in
crease in the salaries of the Council
Members, the Mayor Pro-tern, and
the Mayor of the City of Perry. The
proposed increases from the current
salaries are as follows:
1) Council Members from $4,200.00
per year to $6,600.00 per year;
2) Mayor Pro-tern from $4,800.00
per year to $7,200.00 per year; and
3) Mayor from $9,600.00 per year to
$12,000.00 per year.
If approved, the proposed
increases in salaries will go into ef
fect after the next regular municipal
election that is held following the
date of the action by the Council.
This notice is give pursuant to Offi
cial Code of Georgia Annotated
§36-35-4.
