Upward soccer
registration under way
Registration is now being
taken at Second Baptist Church
(the church office) for Upward
Soccer. It is open to girls and
boys kindergarten (must have
turned 4 by Sept. 1, 2006)
through sixth grade.
The early registration cost
per child is $75. After Feb. 26,
the cost will increase to SBS.
Parents may drop off their form
and registration fee between 8
a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
Warner Robins rec to hold
registration, more
The Warner Robins Recreation
Department will hold team regis
tration for it's 2007 Adult Softball
Program Feb. 26-28. Divisions
will include Men's and Ladies
Open. Men's and Ladies Church,
Men's and Ladies Industrial,
Boys Church and Coed. The
entry fee is $464 for a 16-
game season. Registration will
be taken between the hours of 8
a.m.-5 p.m. in the Athletic Office
located at 800 Watson Blvd. For
more info call 929-1914.
Also, the department will hold
team registration for its 2007
Senior (50 and over) League
March 1 and 2. The entry fee
is $390 for a 24-game sea
son. All games will be played at
Fountain Park.
In addition, the depart
ment is taking registration for
“Winter Break Day Camp" set
for Monday-Feb. 23. The camp
is for boys and girls ages 7-12
years old and will be held at the
department, which is located at
800 Watson Blvd. Registration
is Monday through Friday from
7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost
is $54 for city residents: $lO2
for county residents; $l6B for
out-of-county residents. Bring a
sack lunch every day; drinks
and snacks will be provided.

department needs track and

between the hours of 8 a.m. and

CGSA begins late
registration
Late registration for the Central
Georgia Soccer Association
has begun and will continue
until Saturday. To register, go

Landings to host two-man
scramble championship
Landings Golf Club will host
a two-man scramble champion
ship March 3 and 4. The cost is
$240 per team.
Also, the club will hold a
Valentine's couples dinner today
for SSO per couple, a Taste of
Italy Feb. 22 for $19.99 per per
son and a Member Mixer Feb.
23. The mixer costs $12.95 per
person, which includes food and

Demonette swimmers place in Sweet 16

swim meet

State swim

County
Westminster.
Also, according to coach
Barbara Hawkins, they also
swam personal bests.
Anne Culpepper, who
had a 500 free seed time of
5:11.56, swam to a 5:08 in
both the prelims and Finals.
She is now ranked seventh in
the entire state for AAAAA,

state tournament. If we
are satisfied, it takes away
from our sense of urgency,
which every competitor

In addition to qualifying,
Dick finished the tourna
ment 2-0 and earned the
title “region champion.”
