Warner Robins Mayor Donald Walker presents Andre Cotella with a proclamation pro
claiming Feb. 21, as Andre Cotella Day in honor of Cotella’s 10th anniversary of becom
ing an American Citizen. He was born in Caines, France, and survived the Nazi occupa
tion. He was later a logistics agent for the U.S. Navy’s 6th Fleet before choosing Warner
Robins as his place to retire. Cotella has also served in the Warner Robins Rotary Club
for 10 years, Walker noted.
