training, Powell studied the

tion, and military customs

In January, Mid South
Federal Credit Union par
ticipated in a fund-raiser
to benefit The Children’s
Hospital by selling
“Snowmen for Children.”
Many local credit unions
joined forces to support The
Children’s Hospital during
this time, with all proceeds
benefiting the hospital here
in Middle Georgia.
Mid South tellers con
tributed to the effort and,
according to a release, the

a second lieutenant in the
U.S. Army after success
fully completing the Army
Reserve Officer Training
