announce contest

For the past three years,
Hearing Associates Inc., has
been giving back to the com
munity.
During the month of May,
which is National Speech and
Hearing Month, and during
the period 2004-2006, they
gave away six hearing aids.
This year they will do it
again via an essay contest.
There are approximately
23 million Americans who
have a hearing problem that
can be treated, said Tim
Edgar of Hearing Associates
Inc. He also noted that hear
ing aids can run from SSOO
to $3,000 with the cost based
on the extent of an individu
al’s hearing loss. A stronger
