Workers clean up a wreck that occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Perimeter Road and U.S.
41. The accident resulted in the ticketing of the driver at fault and the arrest of the victim, as he was reportedly driving
on a suspended license. According to Perry Police Capt. Bill Phelps, Judy Merritt was driving a 2007 Honda Accord
on Perimeter Road and attempted to turn left onto U.S. 41. She reportedly pulled into the path of Nathanial Curtis
who was driving a 2005 Honda Odyssy on U.S. 41. Curtis was transported to the hospital where he was treated and
released. However, he was then arrested as officers on scene discovered his license had been suspended.
