In a press release Thursday, the GBI said it is actively following leads almost daily and is attempting to piece together exactly what hap pened to Worrell, who died from a single gunshot wound on Sept. 20, 2006. Finding appropriate resources to stabilize the situation and going through legal proceed ings uninformed can be even more of a challenge. Hodac’s volunteer victim advocates are, according to a release, “the cornerstone of its victim services pro gram. Addision, 23, of 204 Waverly Lane, in Byron, was arrested Tuesday for viola tion of probation from Superior Court. He is on probation for a statutory rape conviction in February. He pleaded guilty Feb. 15 for the July 4, 2006, incident and was sentenced to 10 years probation and required to reg ister as a sex offender. Kristina M. Pike of Pike’s Peak Performance in Perry, one of the contractors who lost money doing business with Kelley’s Mid-State Custom Exteriors tracked him via Internet searches to Gig Harbor, Wash.
