CASA of Houston, Inc. welcomed nine new volunteer advocates to its program recently. The Court Appointed Special
Advocates for children are the voice for abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court System. The newly

The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for The
Bank of Perry. They, according to a release, are a full service bank that offers every
thing the individual or business owner would need. Kelly Hillis and Karen Thompson,
were joined by Mayor Jim Worrall, family, friends, staff, Perry Chamber Board members
and ambassadors, as well as local businesses leaders. The bank’s second location is in
the Publix Shopping plaza on Highway 96.

Carroll Street Coffee. During that time, Owner Tim South was joined by Mayor Jim
Worrall, family, friends, staff, Perry Chamber Board members and ambassadors, as well
as local businesses leaders. They are located in Historic Downtown Perry at 736 Carroll
Street, Suite 18 in Perry.
