Tabor Academy is located at 926 Green Street in Warner Robins. ■ INFORMED CITIZENS UNITED - Informed Citizens United will host a Community Forum at the Nola Brantley Library on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins today from 10 a.m.-noon. The forum, according to a release, is designed to give county residents the oppor tunity to express their feel ings about the good and bad aspects of living in today’s Houston County. The meet ing is open to the public. ■ SPECIAL MEETING - The Houston County Board of Education has called a special meeting to be held at the Houston County Career & Technology Center Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. for the purpose of, according to the release, final approval of the FYOB Millage Rate and any other lawful business that may come before the board. For further information, con tact Superintendent David Carpenter at 988-6200 Ext. 10257. ■ HCHS PARKING PERMITS - Houston County High School student parking permits, according to a release from the school, are now on sale. Permits are being sold, according to the release, on a first come first-serve basis in the attendance office. Permit sale hours on Wednesday and Thursday are 8, a.m.- noon. Additional purchases will be offered beginning Aug. 6 before and after school each day. According to the release, the follow ing documents are required to purchase a parking per mit: Current vehicle regis tration card, proof of auto mobile insurance, current driver’s license of student driving the vehicle and $35 cash, or check/money order made payable to Houston County High School. To receive their schedules, sophomores, juniors and seniors should report to their connection teacher on the first day of classes, Aug. 6. ■ WRHS ORIENTATION - Warner Robins High School, accord ing to a release, will hold a drop-in orientation and two open houses. Students and their parents are encour aged to attend, the release reads. The drop-in orienta tion will be held Thursday from 4-6 p.m. The open houses will be held Aug. 21 at the main campus at 6 p.m. and Aug. 23 at the Rumble Academy at 6 p.m.Warner Robins High is located at 401 South Davis Drive in Warner Robins. He will have more than 100 slides of his and his wife’s recent trip to Italy. The cost of the lun cheon is $5 and reservations must be made by calling the church office at 987-1852, by July 31. ■ FAMILY HEALTH FAIR - The Annual Family Fair will be held Aug. 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Galleria Mall, Centerville. Meetings for the 2007-08 school year have also been scheduled. Parkwood School Council meetings are held at 6 p.m. in the media cen ter. Lewis was recent ly named Employee of the Qearter for the 542 nd Management Operations Division at Robins Air Force Base. She received a cer tificate of achievement from E.
