Sonny Perdue announced some executive appointments this week. One of those was for the State Children’s Trust Fund Commission and included Carolyn “Carol” B. Hanna of Warner Robins, At Large Representative. Hanna, according to a release, is an independent contractor of the National Children’s Alliance. She is the former executive director at Rainbow House Children's Resource Center. She is a member of the Houston County Exchange Club and a supporting member of the National Children’s Alliance. HC Board of Elections to meet Tuesday The Houston County Board of Elections will meet 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Board of Elections Office at the Houston County Government Building, 801 Main St., Room 206, in Perry. However, according to the release, because some health providers are short on the vaccine, schools are allowing parents with the required Certificate of Immunization - Georgia Form 3231 - extra days to obtain'the required shots.
