Demons hope for ‘long year’

There are football programs at all levels
that love winning and love winning all the
time. Sometimes, a program like that learns
the value of not necessarily winning ev
ery game on a schedule, but winning .at the
right time and putting itself in a position to
achieve the ultimate prize.
Warner Robins High School had such a
football season in 2006, one that started out
great with a win against Parkview High in the
Georgia Dome, but also one with a pair of
brief losing strings that put shades of doubt
into the postseason future. But the Demons
not only ended the regular season with a
win at Lowndes, but also used that victory
to shoot up to No. 2 in Region 1-AAAAA.
And when the playoffs started,
