Marie Williams Simons, 70, died
in Winter Park, Florida on Friday,
Sept. 21,2007. Funeral Services
were held Monday, Sept. 24
at the Christ’s Sanctified Holy
Church near Perry, Georgia, with
interment in the church cem
etery. Rev. Steve Gray and Doris
Dempsey will officiate. Visitation
was Sunday at the Church. Born
in Spartanburg, S.C., and the
daughter of the late Clarence
and Marie Bates Williams, Sr.,
Mrs. Simons had lived in Florida
for years. She was the retired
