Man dies in car vs. motorcycle accident

The Houston County
Sheriffs Office respond
ed to a motor vehicular
crash at the intersection of
Georgia Highway 96 and
Latham Drive at 7:47 p.m.
Wednesday.
According to a release,
John French, a 31-year-old
male of Irvine, Kentucky,
was driving a 2007 Honda
1000 motorcycle westbound
on Georgia Highway 96
approaching the intersection
of Latham Drive.
At the same time, Amy
Farguson, a 49-year-old
female from Warner Robins
was operating a 2005 Toyota
Camiy on Georgia 96 and
making a left turn from the

According to a release, two
suspects entered the Pier 97
Seafood Restaurant, located
at 2056 Watson Boulevard
Wednesday at approximately
9:30 p.m.
Both suspects were
described as black males
approximately 5-foot-11 to
6-foot-3, with slim builds.
At least one of the sus
pects was armed with a
handgun and both wore
some type of face covering.
An undetermined amount of
cash was taken and there
were no reported injuries.
Anyone with any informa
tion regarding this incident
is asked to contact Detective
Mark Wright, of the Warner
Robins Police Department
Criminal Investigations
Division, at 929-6911 or 929-
6906.

turn, the release reads,
French lost control of the
motorcycle and was thrown
off just before the collision
occurred. He was pronounced
deceased at the scene by the
EMS personnel.
Several witnesses to the
incident, according to the
release, advised that French

Farguson and her two 3-
year-old grandchildren were
transported to the Macon
Medical Center for injuries
sustained.
The incident is still under
investigation by the Houston
County Sheriffs Office/Traffic
Division.
