Patterson recently. The Tiibman African American Museum will host its 12th Annual
Fund-raising Gala, All That Jazz, at the Macon City Auditorium Nov. 10. According
to a release, the evening will be full of good music, dancing and dining. The seven
piece Cotton Club Allstars Jazz Band with soloist, Ann Sinclair, is also set to perform.
This donation was made to help the Tiibman African American Museum in their
ongoing efforts.

U.S. Coast Guard Recruit
Training Center in Cape
May, N. J.
During the eight-week
training program, Thigpen
completed a vigorous train
ing curriculum consisting
of academics and practical
instruction on water safety
and survival, military cus

B. Jaglowicz has graduated
from basic military training
at Lackland Air Force Base,
San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of
training, he studied the Air
Force mission, organization,
and military customs and
courtesies; performed drill
and ceremony marches, and
received physical training,
rifle marksmanship, field
training exercises, and spe
cial training in human rela
tions.
In addition, those who
complete basic training
earn credits toward an asso
ciate degree through the
Community College of the
Air Force.
He is the son of Jodi
Jaglowicz and grandson of
Sue V Jaglowicz of E. Pointe
Circle, Kathleen.
He is also a 2006 gradu
ate of Warner Robins High
School.

in the Coast Guard just as
they do aboard ships and
shore units throughout the
world. To reinforce the team
concept, Thigpen, and other
recruits were trained in pre
venting sexual harassment,
drug and alcohol awareness,
civil rights training, and the
basics of the work-life bal
ance, as well as total quality
management.
Thigpen is a 2007 gradu
ate of Houston County High
School.
