‘and working hard to improve,” said
Head Coach Jamey Richardson.
“Although we didn’t have many
first- or second-place performances
because Walton’s girls are so good,
we did demonstrate some depth in
having all the girls swim and get
the experience necessary to excel
as the season progresses.
“I’m learning their strengths
and working to put them all in
events where they can develop and
compete for a state qualifying posi
tion. If they continue to work, I’m
sure we’ll be able to improve and
be better than last season.”
As far as the Bears, they not only
rallied to take first against Walton,
seven of their swimmers qualified
for the state tournament, and in
11 events total.
